Introduction :
Seasonal influenza causes a significant disease burden in Hong Kong, the Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases has been reviewing the scientific evidence of influenza vaccination and recommended the priority groups of influenza vaccinations annually.

Health care workers was one of the priority group for vaccination. Get a jab can reduce morbidity and reduce absenteeism among health care workers related to respiratory infections, and also reduce the risk of transmitting influenza to patients who are at high risk of complications and mortality from influenza.

However, the staff immunization rate in FYKH was not significant in the past. (44.4% in 2017/18, 59.49% in 2018/19- on the 6th place on among all Hong Kong Hospital).

FYKH ICT was obligated promote the GVP immunization program for all staff in FYKH as to increase the higher staff GVP immunization rate to achieve our goal: Protect myself, Protect my family, and Protect my community.
Objectives :
Promote a higher staff GVP immunization rate in FYKH and the overall immunization rate achieved to the top three in the rank among all HA hospital in the MIPO report.
Methodology :
1. Cooperate with the DKCH-FYKH-MMRC ICT team to arrange, design and decorate an attractive GVP Kick Off Ceremony on 11/10/2019. Boost the GVP staff immunization rate to historically highest staff ratio received the vaccine on the Kick Off day (over 30%) to maximize the publicity effect of the program.

2. Provide on-site injection on time as requested.

3. Use the gimmick game and lucky draw to attract the staff to get the jab

4. Explain to the staff the vaccination formula is advanced and the side effect is much reduced as compared with the past

5. Use the proficient injection technique to administrate the injection and eradiate the injection panic of the staff.

6. Offer souvenir prepared from cluster CND and FYKH to the staff received the immunization.

7. Follow up each of the staff for the adverse reaction and side effect.

8. Identify all new staff and potential vaccine recipient and phone make appointment with them.
Result & Outcome :
The Staff Immunization rate rich to histological highest record in MIPO to over 70% on 13/01/2020.
