The Hospital Authority Convention 2021

The Hospital Authority Convention (HAC) 2021 aims to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience in clinical advances and approaches to modern healthcare service, and facilitates exploration and discussion of contemporary concepts among healthcare professionals and stakeholders. The scientific programme of the HAC 2021 will focus on the core values of the Hospital Authority (HA), viz. "People-centred Care", "Professional Service", "Committed Staff" and "Teamwork", with topics on "Sustainability", "Patient Safety", "Smart Hospital" and "COVID-19".

The HAC 2021 will be conducted mainly Online / Parallel Broadcast. The Plenary Sessions will focus on the HA's core values, with topics on COVID-19, patient safety, sustainability and smart hospital. The Special Sessions will include topics on cyber security, medical training, well-being of healthcare workers, cell-based therapy and control and prevention of viral hepatitis. There will also be Cluster Sessions (i.e. sessions organised by hospital clusters of the HA) on various clinical topics, such as smart hospital/clinic, healthcare innovations, human factors, transitional care, medical social collaboration and rehabilitation.
