Prof. Chi-kong LI graduated from University of Hong Kong and obtained the Doctor of Medicine from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently he is Professor at Department of Paediatrics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and honorary consultant at Prince of Wales Hospital and Hong Kong Children’s Hospital. He had been Chief of Service of Department of Paediatrics, Prince of Wales Hospital from 2004 to 2014. Dr. Li is specialized in paediatric haematology, oncology and stem cell transplantation. He is the immediate past Continental President of Asia of International Society of Pediatric Oncology. His main interest is in childhood leukaemia, palliative care and bioethics. He is the founding chairman of Hong Kong Society of Children’s Palliative Care. He has published over 340 peer-reviewed papers, written chapters in 6 books and editor of one book.
