Mr Stephen LAM Hon-wai is the General Manager of Pok Oi Hospital (POH) and Tin Shui Wai Hospital (TSWH), and the Cluster Manager of the Procurement and Materials Management Unit of the New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) of Hospital Authority. He graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with major in Hotel and Catering Management, and later obtained the Master Degree in Logistics and Operations Management from the Macquarie University, Australia. Mr LAM has extensive experience in hospital administration, especially in the field of procurement and logistics. Over the past years, he led the Procurement and Materials Management Unit of NTWC to coordinate the launch of numerous new services, including the commissioning and opening of Rehabilitation Block of Tuen Mun Hospital and TSWH, and oversee the utilization of budget to achieve effective deployment of resources in meeting the development needs of hospital administration. Under his leadership, the Administrative Services Department of TSWH had also implemented various smart initiatives and introduced robots in hospital support services for task automation.
